University Card order form for distance learning students

You must be registered to a distance learning course in order to be eligible to order a University card. Therefore, register to the course first and then send in your order.

Fill out the form below to order a University card for distance learning students. Please note that most international students who study in Örebro will receive their University card on the first day of the semester. If not, you can collect a card at Info Centre in Långhuset or at any of Örebro University’s libraries.

The University card functions as a:

Key card. When activated, this function gives you access to the university’s public entrances and facilities, as well as to your school’s computer rooms.
Load card at the University Library. When activated, this function allows you among other things to borrow books, use the library computers and access databases and other external electronic resources.
Borrowing card at Technical Support Services (IT Services). When activated, this function allows you to borrow tape recorders for interviews, digital video cameras, digital still cameras, stands, microphones and other auxiliary equipment for video and audio recordings. Some equipment requires a certificate from your teacher or supervisor and must be reserved in advance.
