Om Ali Hussnain

Ali Hussnain is a PhD student in Chemistry at the MTM Research Centre, Örebro University. He holds a Master’s degree in Chemistry, specializing in environmental forensics, from Örebro University.

His doctoral research focuses on evaluating the soil washing and thermal treatment both individually and in combination for the remediation of PFAS-contaminated soil. His work also involves comprehensive PFAS characterization in water and soil to assess contamination levels and evaluate the effectiveness of different remediation methods.

Through his research, he aims to contribute to the development of effective and sustainable remediation solutions for PFAS-contaminated environments.
