Mis(sing) Information Workshop 7 & 8: Interdisciplinary perspectives, with a legal introduction

17 oktober 2025 10:00 – 12:00 Microsoft Teams Meeting

The Mis(sing) Information Initiative – Workshops Series

The Mis(sing) Information project, which is funded by the Riksbankens Jubileumsfond explores how selective information – through omission or emphasis – shapes public understanding and challenges trust. With digital technologies accelerating information spread, this project focuses on the effects within education, examining how such skewed narratives impact critical thinking and democratic values. By integrating insights from multiple disciplines, the project seeks to address the educational and legal challenges posed by Mis(sing) Information, supporting accurate knowledge dissemination and democratic engagement.

During 8 online workshops we will explore different perspectives on the concept of Mis(sing) Information, for the purpose to build collaborative networks, groups and research proposals. The 9-10th of December 2025 Örebro University will host an interdisciplinary conference on the topic.
