Om Erik Sunnefeldt
Erik Sunnefeldt is a cardiology resident and PhD student at Örebro University and Örebro University Hospital. My research focuses on cardiovascular disease, with particular interests in ischemic heart disease, atrial fibrillation, biomarkers, and the use of artificial intelligence in cardiology.
He initiated and led the development and implementation of anatomy teaching using interactive visualization tables within the medical programme at Örebro University. I am also a board member and secretary of the Working Group for Digital Cardiology within the Swedish Society of Cardiology.
His work combines clinical cardiology, research, medical education, and digital innovation, with the aim of contributing to improved cardiovascular care.
