Felix is a doctoral student in Human Geography.

In his research, Felix focuses on the social and political functions of language as an aspect of group identities in organized football. Using organized football as a macro-framework for research on power and conflict perspectives, he investigates historical and current linguistic developments and reterritorialization processes through observing the linguistic and semiotic landscapes, as well as soundscapes and their effects on identity-building in various European minority regions (Euskal Herria/País Vasco, Breizh/Bretagne and Łužyca/Lausitz).
