Mohammad Loni serves as an Adjunct Senior Lecturer in the Robot Navigation and Perception Lab at Örebro University, where his research focuses on sensor fusion with foundation models to enhance multi-modal perception and decision-making in robotics. Supported by funding from the Knowledge Foundation (KKS), his work bridges cutting-edge AI research and real-world applications, contributing to advancements in robust, reliable, and scalable robotic systems. In addition to leading research activities, Loni supervises MSc and PhD students and teaches courses in AI and robotics, fostering collaboration between academia and industry to accelerate innovation.
