Om Lars Karlsson

Lars Karlsson är professor i datavetenskap inom Centrum för tillämpade autonoma sensorsystem (AASS) vid Institutionen för naturvetenskap och teknik. Han forskar inom robotik och artificiell intelligens, med inriktning mot planering. Detta omfattar bl a hur en robot kan kombinera rörelse- och handlingsplanering, hur ett nätverk av sensorer och robotar kan anpassas för att lösa en uppgift, och hur robotar kan anpassa sina planer efter människors aktiviteter.

Lars Karlsson är ämnesansvarig för datavetenskap, samt programansvarig för civilingenjörsprogrammet i datateknik. Han undervisar kurserna Datavetenskapens grunder och Programvaruutveckling för civilingenjörer.
