Om Maria Unenge-Hallerbäck
Maria Unenge Hallerbäck är överläkare på BUP i Region Värmland och sedan 2020 klinisk lektor i psykiatri vid Örebro universitet. Hon disputerade vid Göteborgs universitet 2012 med en avhandlings som handlade om autism hos unga vuxna med schizofreni.
Forskning
Maria har fortsatt att forska om schizofreni och autism och är biträdande handledare till två doktorander som har projekt kring det temat, en vid Örebro universitet och en vid Lunds universitet. Maria är också involverad i SELMA- studien vid Karlstads universitet där man undersöker samband mellan exponering av olika kemikalier under fosterstadiet och barns utveckling. På senare år har Maria börjar med registerforskning och fick i Juni 2025 ett forskningsanslag från Forte för att tillsammans med forskare vid Karolinska institutet studera hälsa och utveckling hus vuxna som fått diagnos ADHD som barn.
Undervisning
Maria ansvarar för undervisning i barn- och ungdomspsykiatri på termin 5 och 9 på Läkarprogrammet vid Örebro universitet och medverkar på olika sätt med ämnet psykiatri över hela programmet
