GENPROF is an international and interdisciplinary research initiative examining how generative AI transforms intellectual and knowledge-based professions. Bringing together over 100 experts across law, economics, ethics, psychology, sociology, information systems, medicine, and computer science, the project analyses how AI reshapes expertise, judgment, accountability, identity, and governance. With partners from more than 15 countries, GENPROF maps key knowledge gaps and develops a shared research agenda for understanding how AI can be integrated in legitimate, responsible, and human-centered ways across professional fields.
