In the study, an interdisciplinary research team with junior and senior researchers examines the expressions, prevalence and mechanisms of honour related violence from an intersectional perspective. The material mainly consists of interviews (n = 239) and questionnaires (n = 6002).

The study has been presented in the report "Honour and Society" (589 p.).

The data material provides space for further development of several themes, both empirical and theoretical. All researchers are involved in the continued work with peer-reviewed articles in academic journals, books and debate articles as well as academic education and communication with central actors in society.

The project has been initiated by the cities of Stockholm, Gothenburg and Malmö and it is in these cities that the study's data collection has been carried out. The study uses both qualitative and quantitative methods.
