Metabolomics and exposome research

About this team

Hand holding molucule structure.

We are developing novel analytical and computational tools for metabolomics and exposome research, and apply them in the investigations of human health and disease. We investigate the links between environmental factors and human health. Our aim is to utilize metabolomics and exposomics as tools for elucidating the roles of environmental exposures and host metabolism underlying the progression to disease. We are also interested in identifying new biomarkers for specific diseases and effect-based biomarkers associated with the exposures to environmental factors.
