Abstract:
In the first part of the seminar, we will illustrate how a company can be successfully established by converting research results into industrial-grade products and services - all while maintaining close ties to academic research. We will look at Retenua, an Örebro-based SME specializing in perception and robotics, that has its roots at the Centre for Applied Autonomous Sensor Systems (AASS).
The second part of the talk will outline the resources the ORU Innovation Office can provide to researchers looking to validate the commercial and societal potential of their research results.
Rafael Mosberger is a co-founder of Retenua AB and currently serves as a part-time innovation advisor at ORU Innovation.
