Federica Piersimoni is Senior Researcher at the Agricultural Statistics Service within the Department of Economic Statistics of the Italian National Statistical Institute which she joined in 1996. She has been a visiting researcher at the Regional Economics Applications Laboratory (University of Illinois) and the Centre for Statistical and Survey Methodology (UOW). She received a Ph.D. in Economics and Statistics from the University of Chieti-Pescara in 2013. Her main research interests are statistical disclosure control and sample design.
