Abstract

Sweden's First Autonomous Multi-functional Cultivation Test Bed (LOMAS++) aims to becomes smarter. Indoor cultivation is certainly the trend moving ahead. But, there is always a need for organized cultivation for maximizing the harvest on a smaller compatible surface. Further, scaling it to produce tastier and healthier crops, while reducing the GAS footprint in such systems associates the dimensions of different inter-disciplinary fields. Conventionally, when we refer to flavor, taste, health, and VOC aspects the evaluation of all these are done by the domain experts in the respective fields, which involves destructive methods, and the need of sophisticated equipment's, while the overall process being manual and labor-intense. My research questions are centered around these dimensions with an envision to make the autonomous CNC robot farming machine a perfect choice for indoor cultivation going the non-destructive way.
