Om Linnéa Engman
Linnéa Engman är legitimerad psykolog och doktor i psykologi, verksam inom forskningsmiljön Center for Medical and Health Psychology (CHAMP). Hon tog sin psykologexamen 2015 och disputerade 2021 på en avhandling om psykologiska aspekter av vulvodyni.
Linnéa forskar inom smärtpsykologi samt sexuell och reproduktiv hälsa, med särskilt fokus på smärttillstånd såsom vulvodyni och endometrios. Forskningen behandlar psykologiska mekanismer som påverkar smärtupplevelse, sexuell funktion och livskvalitet, samt hur bemötande och behandling inom hälso- och sjukvården kan utvecklas.
Hennes forskning bedrivs i samarbete med såväl nationella som internationella aktörer och är tvärvetenskapligt orienterad, med kopplingar till både medicin och beteendevetenskap. Ett centralt mål är att bidra till ökad kunskap och förbättrad klinisk praxis inom området.
