Om Lisa Spang
Lisa Spang är leg. arbetsterapeut och är anställd på Institutionen för Hälsovetenskaper. Lisa Spang har varit doktorand inom det tvärvetenskapliga forskarskolan Successful ageing och disputerade i oktober 2024. Lisas avhandling beskrev utifrån ett aktivitetsperspektiv vad som influerar äldre personer som bor kvar i det egna hemmet, att ansöka om särskilt boende. Efter disputation har Lisa fokuserat på att vidareutveckla sin kompetens inom äldreområdet. Lisas övergripande syfte med sin forskning är att förbättra vardagen för äldre personer i Sverige. Detta genom två olika projekt, ett där Lisa är involverad i forskning om hur demensvården i Sverige kan bli mer inkluderande och anpassas till flera olika kulturer. Samt ett där Lisa tillsammans med kommundietist forskar för att förebygga undernäring hos äldre personer med kommunala omsorgsinsatser.
Förutom forskning så ägnar Lisa sig åt att utbilda arbetsterapeuter på grund- och magisterprogrammet. Även här är Lisa intresserad av pedagogik utifrån ett forskningsperspektiv och arbetar för att hitta nya undervisningssätt för att möta dagens studenters informationsinhämtning och inlärning.

- Näring i vardagen - ett utvecklingsprojekt för att stärka arbetsterapeutens roll i att förebygga undernäring hos äldre personer med kommunal omsorg
