Kursbeskrivning/Course description

I kursen behandlas centrala begrepp, teorier och perspektiv inom ämnet kulturgeografi. Särskild uppmärksamhet ges rums- och platsbegreppets utveckling inom ämnet.
/ The course addresses central concepts, theories, and perspectives within Human Geography. Particular attention is given to the development of the concepts of space and place within the discipline.

Tillträdeskrav och urval/Admission requirements and selection

För att få delta i kursen och de prov som ingår i kursen ska sökanden vara antagen till utbildning på forskarnivå vid Örebro universitet.

Andra sökande än doktorander antagna vid Örebro universitet kan ha rätt att delta i kursen med stöd av regler och/eller avtal om beställd utbildning, gemensam examen, nationella forskarskolor eller samarbete i övrigt med andra högskolor.

I första hand antas doktorander som är inskrivna vid ett lärosäte som ingår i det nationella nätverket för forskarutbildningskurser i kulturgeografi i Sverige.
Andra doktorander antas i mån av plats.

/ To participate in the course and the examinations included, applicants must be admitted to doctoral (third-cycle) studies at Örebro University.

Applicants other than doctoral students admitted at Örebro University may be eligible to participate in the course based on regulations and/or agreements concerning commissioned education, joint degrees, national research schools, or other forms of collaboration with other higher education institutions.

Primarily, doctoral students enrolled at a higher education institution that is part of the national network for doctoral courses in Human Geography in Sweden are admitted.
Other doctoral students are admitted subject to availability.
