The research centre AASS arranges a seminar with Luis de Miranda, School of Humanities, Education and Social Sciences, Örebro University.

Abstract

We need a culture of collaboration between technicians and humanists. Why? Because the world is already anthrobotic, techno-social, and robotics and AI are about human-machine interaction. It is folly for the humanists to ignore technology, it is folly for the engineers to assume they know what human means. This talk will briefly introduce an ongoing effort in creating such a culture, and then will engage you in a discussion on how join this effort or profit from its fruits.
