COIL (Collaborative Online International Learning): Design, Build, Deliver - How to teach in a collaborative way online in diverse student groups

19 september 2026 00:00 — 30 november 2026 00:00

The online course led by Dr. Doscher, an experienced expert in the field, is designed to guide you step by step through the preparation and the challenges of the implementation of the project of Collaborative Online International Learning: what to consider when deciding on the goals and content, how to best support student team work in the international setting, how to motivate students and help them broaden their knowledge and develop a range of skills, and last but not least show ways how to make it enjoyable for all engaged.

The course is led by Dr. Stephanie Doscher, a scholar-practitioner-consultant specializing in curriculum innovation and global learning, a Senior Fellow with the Global Citizenship Alliance of Salzburg Global and Executive Board member of COIL Connect. She co-authored The Guide to COIL Virtual Exchange (Routledge 2022) and Digital Internationalization: Beyond Virtual Exchange (Routledge 2023). Her global learning assessment rubrics contributed to the OECD PISA Global Citizen Competence Framework.
