AI in medicine -- education for medical doctors and in the medical programme: knowledge gaps and areas of current development

AI literacy, operational competence and ethical considerations regarding use of Artificial Intelligence in medicine are about to become part of medical doctors' education world-wide. In this project, depending on your specific interests, the focus is on investigating the current line of developments for teaching Artificial Intelligence to practicing MDs or medical students.

A practical part can be planned for this project, but is not obligatory. A systematic literature review is considered the major part. In the Bioinformatics group, we involve AI methods since 20 years for both research and teaching, please refer to our homepage to find out more:
