Har du arbetat i katastrofer? Vi söker deltagare till en studie om icke tekniska färdigheter hos katastrofpersonal.
Inom katastrofarbete är icke-tekniska färdigheter som förmåga att kommunicera, arbeta i team, ledarskap och mental förberedelse av viktiga. Det saknas dock kunskap om hur sådana förmågor utvecklas och vad de innebär i en katastrofsituation. Syftet med studien är därför att undersöka hur viktiga kompetenser för att arbeta i katastrofer utvecklas.
Vi söker dig har arbetat i ledande funktion (tex team-leader eller gruppchef) under minst två katastrofuppdrag och kan förmedla dina erfarenheter på svenska eller engelska.
Att delta i studien innebär att delta i en individuell intervju per telefon eller zoom. Intervjuerna beräknas ta 45-60 minuter.

Have you been involved in disaster response missions? We are looking for study participants for a research study on non-technical skills among disaster responders.
Disaster response is a complex field that requires a broad palette of skills and competences. Non-technical skills have proven to be of value, alongside with technical skills. Several recent studies show that communication, teamwork, and leadership are especially of value, along with mental preparedness and stress management. However, a deeper understanding how these skills are obtained and how they are used is lacking. Therefore, this study aim to explore how non- technical skills among disaster responders are acquired.
We are looking for participants with a minimum of two previous missions as disaster responders in a leading position (team leader or corresponding position) and able to communicate their experiences in either Swedish or English.
Interviews will be held in person or via link. The interviews takes about 45-60 minutes.
