Om Frans Prenkert

Frans Prenkert är professor i företagsekonomi vid Handelshögskolan vid Örebro universitet och leder forskningen vid Center for Sustainable Business | CSB.

Undervisning

Frans Prenkert har erfarenhet från alla nivåer av grund- och vidareutbildning inom företagsekonomi inklusive executive MBA-kurser och forskarutbildning. För närvarande undervisar han huvudsaklingen på I-linjen samt handleder uppsatser på avancerad nivå.

Forskning

Hans forskning ligger inom området ekonomisk organisering med särskilt fokus på industriföretagets externa flöden och inter-organisatoriska nätverk.

Applikationsområden som Frans Prenkert har forskat inom inkluderar förädlingsleden inom primärproduktion av fisk, kött och mjölk samt lager/logistik och dagligvaruhandeln med fokus på frågor om strategi, organisering, internationalisering, innovation, teknologisk utveckling, kommersialisering, SCM och hållbarhet.

Förenande för all hans forskning är ett intresse för och fokus på empiriskt orienterade studier av de processer av organisering som skapar förutsättningar för hållbar ekonomisering i komplexa nätverk bestående av sociala, tekniska och ekonomiska kopplingar och entiteter.

Målet med Frans Prenkerts forskning är att skapa kunskap om de reala ekonomiernas funktionssätt genom att utforska den socio-tekniska-ekonomiska matris inom vilken organiserad ekonomisk aktivitet uförs med syfte att öka förståelsen för vad som utgör hållbara ekonomiska system.

Frans Prenkert ingår som forskare i forskargruppen CSB Value Chain (fd. ORULOG) och CSB Circular Economy.
